Check age, region, account status, verification and any membership requirement. Note whether registration, check-in and the first round use separate closing times.
A visible event does not always mean the account can enter. Read any invitation, device or eligible-game condition before completing activity that you expect to count.

Map the structure of every stage
List the number of rounds, advancement threshold and whether points carry forward, reset or change weight. A format can use one rule for qualification and another for the final.

Break scoring into separate parts
Record base values, multipliers, caps, penalties and any category that must be completed before points count. Apply them in the order shown by XX7.
Use an official worked example when available. A personal shortcut can miss rounding or a maximum value that becomes important only near the top of the table.

Read tie-break and result-review rules
Equal totals may be separated by time, a named category, highest round or another criterion. Start with the first published tie-break and stop once the accounts differ.
Wait for the event to be marked final before disputing a provisional rank. If a settled result still conflicts, save the event ID, rule line, score breakdown and final screen for XX7 support.
